The Motivation: From Suffering to Spiritual Awakening

3 min read

We all face moments when everything seems to be falling apart. When deadlines pile up, projects fail, relationships strain, and the path forward becomes unclear. These are the moments that define us – not because they break us, but because they reveal what we're truly made of.

I recently came across a quote from One Punch Man that resonated deeply with me:

"When a person is thrust into the darkest depths of despair they seek a ray of light, it doesn't matter how small it is, or how faint it may be. Just the fact that it's there gives hope."

This simple wisdom captures something profound about human resilience. We don't need everything to be perfect to keep going. We don't need absolute certainty to take the next step. All we need is a small glimmer of possibility – a tiny reason to believe that things can get better.

For those who turn inwards during these tough times, seeking answers for their grief, pain, and suffering – questioning why they have been chosen or destined for these experiences – I want to share something profound: consider giving spirituality a chance. Going spiritual can heal much of our suffering and lighten the burden of carrying the baggage of difficult experiences.

When I turned inwards, the ray of light, the hope I sought came from my own self. Your inner self knows you best, and no one else can truly help you overcome bad experiences. External factors, people, and mentors can guide you, but your mind guides you in each and every moment.

I turned to seeking truth, as that's what made sense to answer the question "why me?" This question needs to be answered for many people to move forward. But the answers aren't straightforward nor available from anyone else. It's your life, your karma, and things happen for you to prosper in your journey.

Hanuman ji came into my life, as he is always devoted to truth ("the Ram"), and I turned towards him for strength. What I received from him cannot be explained in words – a sense of belonging, a way of life, and the knowledge that I am loved and that I matter. This message shook me from the inside; it was my own self that awakened me and said connect to your inner self and see that you are loving awareness.

One day, I was watching YouTube when I stumbled upon a video of an old man in a blanket. It was his biography, "The Miracle of Love" – "The Windfall of Grace." This video changed me completely. I felt as if all questions were answered; I didn't have any questions left. Although the grief and pain still remained, a blissful experience took over me.

This experience was the ray of hope, the light I had been seeking. This was what I was looking for. And since then, I know that he is always around to look after me.

Here's the video that transformed my perspective - "The Miracle of Love" - The Windfall of Grace

So the next time you find yourself in that dark place – professionally, personally, or spiritually – remember that you don't need to see the whole path ahead. You just need to find that one small reason to keep going. That faint ray of light might be within you, waiting to be discovered through spiritual connection, self-reflection, or even a chance encounter with wisdom that speaks directly to your soul.
